@Darth Tavian - the cuts look clean and the spins look smooth, but Master Nonymous is right I'm afraid... it's difficult to give pointers with so little lighting, because we can't see any of the body's movements.

Well, I got called out (sort of) on Facebook, so I made a quick little video. Figured I'd post it here as well. Mainly it's just to show off how bright the sabers are, though you can definitely tell a difference between the heavy grade and mid grade blades. One thing to note, I'm wearing my halloween costume during all this, so my movement is somewhat more restricted. Enjoy!

Sort of. Someone asked for pictures and such of the sabers for brightness and whatnot, and since I'd been wanting to make a night video anyway I went ahead and put this together. Certainly not my best work, nor well lit at all, but it did what I needed it to do. |

Some of the guys and I from our local saber club just did a segment thats going to air tomorrow on Shaw TV, for a program called "How to do stuff" They caught wind of our group a few weeks back and wanted to do something before comic con, but timing just didnt work out so we did it today. It airs tomorrow, and we should have youtube links and toss it on our facebook page as well www.facebook.com/rivercityjedi(Shaw Cable is the biggest cable provider in canada, and each city that has shaw has their own "Shaw TV" its just local access stuff but it was still fun to do regardless) Besides, how many people can honestly say they got to be on tv for using lightsabers? |

Went for a hike up the local mountain trail here called Cowles Mountain. Took the Prophecy with me (just the hilt). I wanted to get some video of the hike, but it didn't turn out very well. Looking to do it every Sunday, so we'll see about this weekend.
