Bah Humbug... just clearing my throat. Ahem that's much better. Wow Groovi that's really fantastic and couldn't happen to a more swell person. Actually in the spirit of the season, I temporarily elevated you on my awesomeness list to #1 cus' for some reason I was in the top three spots. Who knew... go figure.  Have a wonderful time and I'm sure that you would agree that you totally deserve it. Karma is in alignment so I'm thinking that this should not be venting but bragging.  |

He's psychotic and antisocial, but you'll like him!" I had someone introduce their friend to me this way and it made things weird. I'll form my own opinion, thanks. Man, don't do that sh*t to your friends. It's rude and make you look pretty crappy yourself. |

I don't know... when you are on good terms with your friends like that, busting their chops in front of others can be acceptable and illustrates the kind of friendship you have where you can do such things with impunity and expect the same treatment in return.
Doing that with your best friend is fine, but this was, by far, not this guy's "best friend." I could see on the other guy's face that it was awkward for him, especially given how he mumbled to me, "I'm sorry about him," and not in "LOL, that's so funny!" fashion. Not to mention, the way it was said wasn't in that playful manner that you're thinking of. It was like he said it to be mean. I don't like it. Don't do it. |

I have no idea how long I'm going to need to wait to see Star Wars... Wife doesn't seem overly interested, she's a bit annoyed at how the Prequels portrayed the Jedi Order. Her words exactly are "How come the heroes are all @$$holes?" She does like the Clone Wars, in small doses, and wishes the movies were done closer to those stories.
So my guess, I might get to see it sometime around Christmas Weekend... maybe...

I am so sorry to read this. Sending a big hug and condolences to you and your family. It's an extra difficult time of the season right now. Hope he is old enough to have some fond memories and holds on to that card. |
