Just for the record, I don't have a problem with anyone liking LP. I just don't really listen to them anymore, but then I was never a HUGE fan to begin with.

And I would like to say that I don't have a problem with anyone who doesn't like LP. Everyone has their own opinions, and I just wanted to share my own Well, to get back on topic, I'm currently listening to Battle For The Sun by Placebo.

And I would like to say that I don't have a problem with anyone who doesn't like LP. Everyone has their own opinions, and I just wanted to share my own exactly. and if everyone didn't have their own opinions and all liked the same stuff, it would be a very boring world! variety is the spice of life! but to be back on topic, im considering arguing with the home stereo system to play some old school acca dacca while I argue with my sewing machine . haven't listen to them in a long time

Did I sound argumentative at all? If I did, that wasn't my point either. Just having a fun discussion on a love of music. And real music too not like anyone's posted up some of that BS my sister listens to... now that is not, in any way music lol exactly. and if everyone didn't have their own opinions and all liked the same stuff, it would be a very boring world! variety is the spice of life!
it would indeed, point to both of you and because it's what I'm listening to right now, gotta post this up to stay on topic and to combat my sister and her love of young men with zero talent versus this kid

^Nah, you didn't sound argumentative at all. Hopefully I didn't either. Eek! Also, I'm not really a fan of country. I don't hate it though. It's just simply not my thing Definitely a good singer though. I don't know if you guys are into instrumental music, but this guy is one of my biggest inspirations. He knows how to make the guitar sing, and it's just so moving.

So I've really gotten hooked on this little known band called 'Trading Yesterday", several of their songs grab me, but this one really hits home. The first half of the song is good but that second half is simple amazing!

Jazz + Blues = My two new favorite genres of music. I've always been a fan, but I'm really starting to feel it now. I definitely have my parents and Wendy's to thank for exposing me to both forms of music at such an early age. Now I just need to start learning how to play it all on my guitar.
(yeah, I know, this isn't jazz or blues, but my parents played it all the time growing up, and I can't help but get sidetracked Oh, nostalgia).

since you're bringing up jazz and blues... my favorites right now: John Mayer "Gonna Find Another You"
I LOVE that guitar! Jonny Lang "The Levee"
probably my favorite blues artist right now, and combined with Brad Paisley, why I love the Tele Thinline and Michael Buble "Feeling Good"
definitely gave me hope for my sister when she was playing this once in her truck lol man I miss the big bands love playing this on my tenor sax and trumpet played it once at Disneyland, in the "square" in New Orleans Square... I'll never forget it. and my favorite "little band" Lake Street Dive's "Got Me Fooled"
man she has some talented pipes. LOVE them!

Awesome I listened to them all. Jonny Lang is insane. I love his stage presence. And Michael Buble? Wow. That voice.... Oh, and I found this little gem on YouTube. It's a smooth jazz instrumental album, and it's very good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mTHKcM6h17oAnd here is Dave Weiner, one of my favorite guitarists of all time. His phrasing and execution are both out of this world, and while I really want to say more, I think it's best to just let the music speak for itself.

yep, still love the Fender Tele thinline. That rajun cajun can sing and play. That was excellent point to Prowl for fixing the links and
definitely point to JEStucker for exposing me to this guy. He's freaking sweet
