Ok everyone I'm working on an emerald 2ch stunt. I was able to figure most everything out from taking the driver off of the obsidian it was attached to . Here is my diagram -

Note that I wil be setting this up with a momentary to latching converter(the block in the top left) and recharge port/ kill key ( not shown) but I'll get to that later.
My main concern at the moment is the secondary board ( the long one) it is labeled as obsidian led and obsidian FOC. Now when using this driver in a stunt set up where would theese two be wired in to.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I read through the wiring section in the help file of the Obsidian Launcher, and I interpreted the diagram in there like this:

The terminal labeled "Obsidian LED" must be wired to the general On/Off switch (help file calls it "toggle switch"), and the "Obsidian FoC" can be wired to a second switch (help file calls it "push button") controlling FoC. Normally these terminals would be wired to the corresponding terminals "LED" and "FoC" on the Obsidian sound board, but according to the help file they can also be connected to switches that control On/Off and FoC. Both switches must be connected to the "battery negative" or "ground" pin of the Driver by a common wire then. If you're not using FoC, then you don't need the FoC terminal.

I don't know if you can control both On/Off and FoC by a single switch like you do in a sound-equipped saber, though. Maybe you have to contact Emory to get a definite answer if that's possible and how the wiring whould have to look like then.

I read through the wiring section in the help file of the Obsidian Launcher, and I interpreted the diagram in there like this:

The terminal labeled "Obsidian LED" must be wired to the general On/Off switch (called "toggle switch"), and the "Obsidian FoC" can be wired to a second switch (called "push button") controlling FoC. Normally these terminals would be wired to the corresponding terminals "LED" and "FoC" on the Obsidian sound board, but according to the help file they can also be connected to switches that control On/Off and FoC. Ok that helps a lot.
I don't need to have an extra switch for a foc but its an interesting idea.
So as long as the two terminals are conected to the ground of the driver then it should work .

I'll post an updated diagram with the recharge port later when I get the chance.

I don't know if you really need to connect the FoC terminal to the ground if you're not using it...it seems that it's only necessary if you include a FoC trigger button in your build. But you could try it and see what happens Smiley

Well with the info provided above I will atleast have a good place to start.  I will be doing some through testing befor I slide it into a build.

I'll find out soon enough if the foc terminal is needed in a stunt build.

When I start the final build process I'll be doing a full build log and possabily a video tutorial. Although I'll be adding some extras so a video might nt be needed. What do you think?

I think a tutorial would be nice for other members who might plan such a build, too. However, if you can't add the extras to your build after doing the basic Driver wiring due to technical reasons, then I'm sure the log will still provide enough information.

I'll plan on doing the tutorial and I'll go ahead and add the extras because the add ons I think would be use full to some besides there mostly just the momentary/ latching converter and some accent leds pulsing with the chosen chanels easy stuff to add.

Have a point for the help
