No. It would just allow for Obsidian AND Emerald. I've actually advocated all the V3s being updated.
There is only one curved saber, which is the Mantis, a premium priced saber. I think a less expensive curved saber that is more combat suited would sell very well. The Mantis looks extremely intimidating, but is a little hefty as a combat saber. As much as I love the Mantis (I have both the Mantis CE and the Crimson versions  ), I would like a smaller curved saber to complement it. |

That looks kind of cool actually...
I'd like to a variant where the elbow end is pommel-side, not emitter side. I think that's my big problem with the Mantis; the elbow is just too far forward if you're shooting for a pistol-type grip like some epees have. |
