Time to rant again...
1 - Day Blades. Mid Grade. Red, Green, Blue, AND Yellow. PLEASE
2 - Parabolic Blade tips! The parabolic tips are by far the most realistic looking.
3 - Updated electronics. I want sweet smooth swing. Does not mean that you gotta start doing pixel blades which is most common with the current boards with smooth swing. The same in hilt LED goodness we have - just BETTER sound on the Obsidian and Diamond boards.

I came up with a couple bundle deals that I would like to see. Possibly with a 5 to 10 percent discount.
Sky bundle includes the Emperiss, Grafflex,Archon V2.1/V3.1, and Chosen One/Dark Graflex.
Phantom bundle includes the Consular, Guardian, and two Menaces with an adjustable coupler.
Outsider bundle includes the Fallen, Raven, Bellicose, and Malice.

Actually, what I'd like to see is an option to get a LONGER blade plug, as the standard ones don't fit in a few of the premium sabers. As for wraps... I like the idea but honestly I think as a business decision US is better served leaving that alone and letting the customer do their own wrapping. Wraps can look great, but they add a lot of time and effort (and therefore expense) to hilts. So ... maybe on one or two premium hilts, but even the I wouldn't expect it. |

I'd say to an extent, if you want cfx/neopixel, and you want it in a US hilt, buy an empty hilt and diy. I don't think they are going to start using the other guys components anytime soon. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 using Tapatalk |

Not that I have a crossguard, but I can't find an option (outside of getting a second one, or pipe cutters.) To switch between two 6" or 8" blades for the sides. I like carrying my saber around with a 16" blade instead of a plug as personal preference. A shorter blade would be nice for that as well

First, I am doing a neo/CFX on another hilt that I have currently ( I am perfecting my collection of Obi-Wan's hilts with a masterfully made version of his Episode III hilt, and then upgrading my all time favorite as well). And while I DO like to do installs myself, and plan to begin buying more Ultrsabers empties, I just think it would be nice if the Obsidian sound got an upgrade to smooth swing for those who do not or don't think that they can. Not interested in a neopixel blade in an Ultrasabers hilt. Ultrasabers hilts are the bangers in our house. Solid, made for abuse. But smooth swing is where the market is going now, I'm not saying they need to start using Erv's boards, but it's time to upgrade the Obsidian. Second, up until this afternoon when I found a dual tactile switch holder that fits a 16mm AV switch hole, I was pretty convinced that I would not be able to install one of those in an Ultrasabers hilt, because you pretty much need 2 momentary switches. You CAN only use one, but you miss out on a lot of features. After all, how old is the v4? 5 years? That's the date on the intro video for it. Ultrasabers will need to upgrade to stay competitive with the "others". |
