Just got back from the theater, saw Robocop for a second time.

I really enjoy the remake, it makes many nods towards the original, while taking the narrative in a different direction without ruining the core idea of "Man and Machine."

To be honest I saw a lot of correlations between this iteration and my character, Kham; which is probably why I enjoyed din so much.

Upon a second viewing it rates a high 3.5 and low 4 out of 5 on the 'Kham Scale.'   Wink

Lets see, current rotation lately has been Burn Notice on Netflix, Heaven's Lost Property, and possibly restarting the last season of Breaking Bad, now that the second half of the season is up on Netflix.

Been watching a couple of shows lately, but the one that really sticks out to me is The Following. It is VERY good television. The antagonists aren't the same cookie-cutter generic crap from so many other TV show dramas. They're actually unique, with ticks and motives that you don't really ever get to see in these kinds of shows, and they're three dimensional as well... you actually start to sympathize with them, despite all the bad they've done. And all of that goes for the protagonists as well, though the opposite can also be said (you will still root for them, though, trust me!) And the story is just so damn gripping and tense and, once again, unique.

I missed out on season 1, though, so I don't really have the full story, but definitely go and check it out.

*bounces up and down in seat from excitement*

Another great show is the comedy, Rake, which... to my utter shock, was actually very funny, with witty and clever dialogue, and a darn good lead actor. I can't stand comedies these days, like The Big Bang Theory, or How I Met Your Mother (just not my cup of tea, not saying they're bad, necessarily), so I was pleasantly surprised.

Aaaand... I'm done.

I've been watching a lot of Columbo recently.  It was one of my favorite shows my grandmother and I watched together when I was little. Many of you have probably never seen it, but Peter Falk won four Emmys for his role as the rumpled, anyway seemly bumbling, constantly underestimated detective.

An interesting song about The Flash... and it's quite depressing too.

I've been kinda getting into Lindsey Sterling's music recently. She's a very talented violinist who has stepped out of traditional violin music and into more mainstream.
