Mhmm. Like a freshman film major's first draft. The one fight scene I saw was laughable too, along with pretty much every display of his abilities (important to note I didn't get to see him use his iron fist; he was mostly just doing agility stuff). And my goodness is Finn Jones a pain. If I hear it gets better I may give it another shot but I also don't know if I can take it. There are better things to watch. |

I'm sure some people will enjoy it and I don't blame them for it. There are ways it can totally fill a certain niche for people. I'd just rather not myself.  |

It is definitely the most unique take on superheroes we have ever had, on tv or in film. It needs to be seen and experienced. It cannot be described. But I'm really loving it. IRON FIST episode 1.

41 mins into Iron Fist ep. 1 and I am actually enjoying it. Yes, it's not on the same level as Daredevil Luke Cage or Jessica Jones, but it isn't awful. Maybe it's because I know some of the character's comic background (I used to read some of the Iron Fist and Power Man comics when I was 7 or  but don't have fanboy levels of devotion to the character. It's off to a tad slow start, but it's only ep. 1 so that can be forgiven. |
