I'm feeling feverish now....well at least I got to go to the gym ONCE this week... I heard frozen peas will help you cool off. (Yes, I know that's not what you're supposed to do about a fever, but I couldn't help it. Peas forgive me.) Look, ice couldn't handle this job, okay. You need mobile coldness that can navigate that madness properly.

Welllllll..... back still isn't better. Yesterday I worked, couple hours in I thought this could be interesting, dunno if i could get through an 8 hr day. At 7 hours I asked to go home coz I was in too much pain, got told no. By the time I got home I wasn't quite in agony but I was pretty damn sore. This morning not much better. Saw my physio for my ankle and she ended up treating my back instead, and has recommended I take a few days off work (I didn't have the sick leave to cover last week, let alone this week). So we will see what my doctor says tomorrow morning  Just perfect timing since we don't have a whole heap of spare money since we just bought a house and I need the work I think I prefer having a sore ankle to a sore back (oh, and that's sore too, but that's normal) |

Yeah I know that everone thinks of the forums as like their second family, but you may be getting a little to personal with us. There's nothing personal about saying I stuck peas down my shirt lol. They're just peas and I'm just a person. Okay, so maybe I'm not REALLY a person. I could be an android and you could all just be passing my maker's AI test by interacting with me. BUT SPEAKING OF PEOPLE . . . . Holy crap. They just put up two new stop signs in my neighborhood that are wildly unnecessary. I ran them 4 times before I realized that I was not, in fact, hallucinating their appearance. HOA claims it was done "to make the streets safer for children." Well, most of the parents here don't let their kids play in the freakin' street. Also? HOA came onto my property and cut the non-fenced portion of my backyard, which is by the lake. While I certainly don't mind HOA cutting my damn grass, we've lived here 3 years and they've never done it before. Then, I get a letter today saying elections for HOA are next Tuesday. Gee, I WONDER what's going on. What could it possibly be? |

At a children's charity event where Frozen songs were repeatedly played two years ago we came up with a rather long winded parody "Do you want to build a Death Star?" Wish I could remember the words, it played on that Star Wars Lego animated show. Meanwhile, our Joker cosplayer was singing his own version "Do you want to kill a Batman?" I should note, we were in the change rooms at the time, not on the charity event floor haha |
