I saw a video on youtube that had a great idea for increasing brightness using Lee filters. I never thought of this but he hole punched a small hole in the center of the lee filter. This allowed bright unfiltered light to pass through the very center and still get the color filter effect as the rest of light passes through the filter.

I saw that suggestion, too. I wonder how that would work if you drilled a hole in the center of the color discs. I've got some, I might have to try that some time. |

Well, I guess the Mystery Boxes work. My first saber was a Dark Apprentice stunt from a $75 box and was really impressed with the quality. But I wanted more. I NEEDED more. So I just placed an order for an Electrum Wind Diamond. I can't wait to play around with it and see what kind of fun awaits me!

My first order of cheap lightsabers, to include: - Initiates and Sentinels (well, and Apprentices/Aeons/Dominixes) as stunt sabers for my martial arts class to train
- A RGB Aeon V2 LE for myself
- Initiates and Sentinels as stunt sabers for my friends and family for Christmas presents
- A Mantis stunt saber for myself
- 3 mystery box sabers as part of the Autumn sale
I started off getting diamond sabers, because why bother with a stunt saber when you can have a diamond saber! However after getting a free grab bag saber I realized how convenient it would be for practice to have a training saber, so here I am ordering a bunch of training sabers for practice. |
