Ultrasabers is once again giving away a ridiculous numbers of premium, high quality, feature loaded sabers!  It's time for another AWESOME raffle.  Check out a few of the past raffle winner thread or ask around and I'm sure the winners of any of our previous raffles can attest to the awesomeness of getting your name pulled and getting that free saber in the mail!  This raffle ends on Tuesday, August 16th, 2016.  What that means is if you enter you will have MUCH less competition than our past raffles.  Higher odds of winning :-)  Which is always good.  Enjoy!  Not to mention we QUADRUPLED the number of sabers we're giving away!  Which means even HIGHER odds of winning.

Okay. I got my shipping notifaction for my two DP V3s. Is it normal to get my sabers before the winners are announced?

Not that I am aware of. Did you enter the raffle correctly? 

Some people who had raffle entries got their orders before the last one ended.

Still, you may want to check your confirmation e-mail from when you ordered.  If there's something on there about a raffle entry with a -$0.01 (US dollars) charge, and you put your forum name in the comments section, you are in the raffle.

If I entered the raffle on the first day do I have to wait until it's over to receive my saber? Like do they do that to help shipping costs? Because if so I need to change my shipping address as in 2 weeks I'm going back out to college. I was hoping to get my saber in the next week or so and then be notified if I won or something later. To make it clearer I ordered a menace and put into the raffle, will I recieve my menace in normal shipping time or after the raffle ends? Dang I should have asked before I entered because if so it needs to be shipped to an entirely different state.

I'm not sure if there's a firm answer one way or the other.  During the last raffle, (the only one I've entered so far) some people had their orders ship as fast as usual, but others of us had to wait until the raffle was over to get our orders.  Of course, at the time, they were just coming off of a huge sale (kinda like they are now ;)) and had also been to a bunch of cons, so stuff got backed up.

All it says on the first post is that your order will be shipped to the same address as the entry order.  It doesn't say anything about one shipment or multiple shipments.  It may depend on when you order during the raffle.  If you ordered early, you may have yours shipped so it's not sitting around, as Lord Rapine said.  If you order towards the end, they may just hold off until they pick the winners.

Well, bear in mind that I don't know fully what the deal is, so certainly don't take my word for it.  I'm just saying what happened last time.

However, here's hoping you do indeed get it soon.  :)  With the previous raffle and the back log from orders and cons, my last order took a bit longer to go out than my first two, so I know all about the anticipation of waiting.

I ordered a stunt Dominix v2 (red), an Aeon v2 (green), and another Aeon v2 (blue) Wednesday morning, and am entered into my first raffle.  I ordered these Wednesday morning, and they're scheduled to arrive today - so I can't speak for anyone else, but US got my order put together and on its way to me in no time.

The Sentinels are honestly SUPER comfortable.

The sentinel hilts are really comfortable, I recommend them.

I was personally looking into a consular because the nickel looks gorgeous. I may have to try a sentinel though if I win with people this positive about them.

 I had two entries for the first summer raffle but had no luck, only getting one entry for the raffle this time, but here's hoping for a win.
Funny thing is, the three sabers I've bought are the first three sabers I've ever bought and not a one is for me lol.

I ordered 4 sabers this time. I can't wait to get them here. I have a Dark Apprentice v4 stunt saber and Dark Apprentice LE v4 stunt saber. This time i ordered Consular with Sound (Emerald) and 3 grab bags.

You have to tell me how that consular is when you get it :)

I haven't quite pulled the trigger on my order yet, but definitely will before the raffle closes. I've been spending the last few days researching like crazy and refining my choices. There's only about 18 decisions to be made before checkout!....haha  :D

At this point it'll be a Dark Apprentice LE v4 (windows) + Premium Sound + Raven SS pommel and a Guardian Blue (silver FoC) 36" mid-grade blade........phew!......I probably changed my configuration about 50 times before settling on that one  :)

I'd consider going with it's big brother the Dark Sentinel.  It's a really comfortable hilt.

Gonna order an Arbiter in yellow and a Sentinel LE v4 to go for this raffle.

Yeah, I think I will go with that one. I thought it looked a bit too long at first, but the difference turns out to be only a couple of inches. Cheers  ;)

This whole lightsaber fad is killing me.  I bought my first lightsaber (Prophecy) about a month ago.  Since then I bought two more (Graflex); one for my wife and another for myself.  In addition I was able to take advantage of the grab bag promo and ended up with a Dominix LE V4 in Sun Rider's Destiny.  I have to say, these are amazing pieces of art and I am thoroughly impressed.  So, I couldn't help myself and just today I placed yet another order for an Archon V3.1 (done up like Luke's in ROTJ).  I am excited for my new saber and an opportunity to get in on the Summer Raffle.  Good luck all :)

My entry- a LONG OVERDUE graflex ce- gold buttons, silver AV to be swapped out for a gold red ring illuminated AV I've got here- blazing red- v4 obsidian- gold covertech.  Got big plans for this saber, my first 'flex- Been waiting to do this order for so long now he he. 

I'm choosing to look at this, not as though I've selfishly splurged and spent a whole check on myself, but rather, as though I'm doing it as a service to the community here- cause I imagine everyone's gonna be like "ugh, finally, this guy's gonna shut up about needing to order a graflex CE!" After a solid 2 weeks of trying to decide what my first saber should be, I finally placed my order and confirmed my entry into the raffle  :)

My budget was $500 total (Australian, which is about $380 USD right now). So, I had a choice between going with a premium hilt while saving money on features, or one of the cheaper hilts with more expensive features. Luckily, I can appreciate minimalist design and ended up spending $470 AUD (or $360 USD) on a......

Yep, I'm pretty excited already and I got a feeling that US will receive a couple more orders when my mates see what they're like  ;)

I was very close to going with an Archon 2.1, but after enquiring about the backorder, I decided that 15 weeks was just too long to wait. So if anyone else is thinking about the Archon 2.1, don't expect them to be back in stock anytime soon.

Good calls on the options vital-blurs:).  You won't regret the FoC silver, it's amazing.  I have a couple sabers with it, it's intense and goes good with so many colours (AB especially). 

I don't actually own a Dom yet- loved the sentinel so much once I tried it I had to get a couple lol!  Definitely going to in future though- look forward to seeing it :).  Good luck, MTFBWY!

Hi Saberforum, after a few months of inactivity on here I've came back for the summer raffle and I've just placed my order, haha, it's a prophecy v3 premium sound in arctic blue, and this second purchase is a present for my wife... she doesn't know anything about it, so when it arrives she will be very happy and surprised, or she will maybe kill me for spending the money :(... or maybe both... let's hope the surprise makes her forget a bit about the money. We can finally play and battle each other now... I was getting a bit bored of just spinning around...

Everyday that this raffle is up is another day where I want to buy another saber to be entered again. Must I say that it is so hard to control myself? I have multiple sabers in mind for the future already and I don't have more than just a grab bag delivered yet. I don't want to know how bad of an addiction this will be when I actually get my saber and especially if I get something in this raffle.

I decided to sell my 2 v4 li-ion stunt staffs and put the money in a premium hilt with Sound for the Raffle.

Somehow, between specific purchases, grab bags, raffle prizes & free Initiates . . . I ended up with an utterly crazy number of V4 hilts . . . and not nearly enough of the sabers I really wanted.

So I'm culling the V4s a little bit and adding this build idea to my collection.

Man I hope everyone is happy with the raffle! I know it's a crazy event and all so I'm sure everyone will be! Got me on the forums so that's something I've already gained from it.

As a person who does a lot of data analysis, I'd say you're getting roughly 10% of new buyers speaking up on forums such as these (at least at first). 
Now this is very generalized estimates, assuming a great deal more than I'd normally assume, but...
Within the last two raffles there were on average 10-15 people posting in the Rules Acknowledgement section per day.  These people are likely all new time buyers <--this is my most general assumption.  We could all just be so charming that a percentage are coming here just to chat with us.
With 10-15 new posts in the rules section on average per day we generally see maybe 1 or 2 posts in any of these other sub-forums from new forum posters.  So my guess is roughly 80-90% of new members just sign up on the forums and don't say anything in order to meet the purchase requirements.  Not that there is anything wrong with that, just giving you a figure to sort of follow.

it'll be a few days before we hear who won so....we'll just have to (im)patiently wait.

One of the instructors is gonna have an evil smile on his face when i show up with a Tri-Blazing Red Scorpion. Haha. He said he wants an apprentice... What makes him think he'll survive the assassination attempt? /grin

First time entrant here. I wanted to give my nephew a saber that i previously purchased (a Consular Green Aeon) but if I win one of the bigger prizes, ill let him choose the saber. Or probably whatever i win, its his. Ive Held off on giving him his Aeon graduation/Navy congratulations present for this reason. Shhhh dont let him know either way. But Im just so proud of him! If anything, wish him good luck. Heheh.

Winners will likely be announced tomorrow morning; the delay with the last Raffle was an aberration due to the US team being on the road, returning from 2 different conventions.

I believe that the forum announcement typically comes before the e-mails to winners.

I've been in a poor spot financially since spring, and had resigned myself to miss every raffle. This month though off had a turn around, and the email this morning spurred me into action. If a raffle is about luck, why not follow luck all the way? I want a staff for myself and to gift sabers to some folks who have helped me recently, so four grab bag sabers, five grab bag blades, and a coupler later, and I'm entered into my first raffle. I'm anxious for the results too.  Ordered my Red Mantis the other day. Got the email today that the order was shipped out.  FedEx says estimated delivery on Friday.  Excited, bought my first ever Saber.  Close call between the Claw, Raven, and the Mantis for me.  What sealed the deal for me was the Intro Video for the Mantis, where they had all the varieties layed out.  That's when I knew I needed the Red/Chrome Mantis with a Fire Orange blade
