It was my first raffle that I entered, and I couldn't sleep the night before they announced the winners because I was so excited.  When I saw the results I was ecstatic that I won a 2nd place prize.  That brown box we all love arrived and here is what was inside:



It was Dark Arbiter in Blazing Red with Obsidian V3 sound





And in case you are interested in seeing what it looks like in different colors, I used my Diamond Azure Menace to simulate:

Consular Green


Pyrestone Orange


Violet Amethyst


Arctic Blue


Banes Heart:


Being my first Blazing Red saber though, it brought out my darker side:



Ultimately I settled on putting a purple dayblade in it:



Which gave it an awesome outer purple color with a deeper red core:



Look closer



And closer still



And then made a crystal blade plug for it:



And tried it out with some acrylic flat blades:







So these two will always have a special connection as entry and prize:



And of course I had to take advantage of the programmable premium sound to make it sound as evil as possible with a custom Darth Nihilus sound font:

And after discovering the excitement of the Ultrasabers raffles, I had to try again.  I wanted my next entry saber to be special too and decided to finally get the saber I almost chose instead of my Azure Reaper for my first one, it was one that I always drooled over at the comic conventions.  Also I wanted to try out a saber in Adegan Silver with V4 sound this time.  So I chose an Azure Mantis:



However after immediately testing different color filters, I fell in love with "Banana Yellow":



Which reminded me of the color scheme the Caped Crusader had in the Superfriends cartoons I watched when I was little:



He seems to approve



And so to complete the theme I added the soundfont created by our fellow forum member Batmike:

And of course had to put an acrylic blade on it just to see what it looked like:



And it has been fun to combine with other sabers to create unique staffs:







So not only has this saber been a ton of fun, it also was a winner.  And again I won a 2nd place prize which I chose to upgrade this time.  What did I get?

Somehow I missed this thread until now. You have some beautiful sabers Edon and of course we all know why you choose the forum name.

I like what you got going here Edon, nice thread. I recognize all of these sabers. Nice armory you've been building and I see you have the same affinity for the acrylics like myself. Keep it going.
