Archon V2 Versatility

Since acquiring my Archon V2 a few months ago, I have obtained a few additional pieces that give it different looks.  Some emitters, some different vented (and solid) necks, and added some O-Rings, here and there.  My most recent purchase was a Manticore emitter, which I posted of photo of in the Manticore announcement thread.  After posting that, I hinted that I might be willing to post all of the pictures of ALL of these various configurations here in a single thread.

So, without further adieu....

Here is the saber with the Arctic Blue LED, standard emitter, and Yari Pike Flush Mount Vented Coupler.


With a wicked looking emitter from TCSS, and the Blazing Red LED


With War Glaive Emitter, and Blazing Red LED

I have plans to obtain a few Pommels (Square Black Malice, Consular, Guardian), and a couple more emitters (Artiber, Consular) to give it even more options.  I would also like to get a couple of addition LED units (think DVA, PO, SRD).  It already feels like I have a much larger selection of sabers than I really do.  I own 4, but since the Archon can become so many different sabers, the actual number is somewhat higher.

I have to agree with you that the Archon is the most versatile of all the Ultrasaber's lineup in my humble opinion.

The three most versatile sabers are the Archon v2, the Arbiter, and the Dark Arbiter.

I have been away for awhile, but what do I see when I come back?  The new Reapers!  Darn nice, to be sure! 

However, as much as I might like them, there is no room in the budget at the moment for a whole new saber.  But the neck piece on that saber looks like it would be a perfect match to the Manticore emitter that I use with this Archon V2.  The flange at the top looks like it would match up perfectly with the flanged bottom of the Manticore emitter, and the bottom of that neck reduces in width right at the join point to the saber.  Again, perfect!  I really hope I can find a way to get one!  It would add yet another disguise to my ever changing Archon!

could you put the vented coupler on any mhs emitter? i thought that it would be the wrong thread on the emitter end. did you use a gender changer part?

The trick is to know which emitters are male vs. those that are female.  Not always apparent, unless you e-mail Emory for more information. 

However, in this case, the Manticore emitter is male, and the Reaper neck appears to be female on the emitter side, and male on the hilt end.  So, it should work.  I look forward to finding out.

That neck piece would really look awesome on my Dark Arbiter as well! I think it would match even better if i had a Consular or Dark Shock emitter as well!
