I know how I'd make both...if I knew how to wire an EL sheet into the saber and had money for machined parts, etc.

Starkiller:
custom machined emitter and pommel
polycarbonate hilt with white EL sheet inside
aluminum rings and shrouds
red switch
silver blade

Temple Guard:
yellow bladed Initiate saberstaff
8 inch extension in the middle
overlapping shrouds on each end (ideally metal)
glowing EL highlights?

While I was looking at the graflex for a couple days looking at no other sabers I genuinely scrolled down and deep inside of my the dark shock screamed my name my persona my will!!  Ordered it can't wait!!

I'm very interested in making a polycarbonate or steele bodied curved-handle lightsaber with a violet/purple blade. Black and silver details inlayed in the hilt, a claw or curved point extension off of the back end and a pointed tip similar to Dooku's on the blade end, extending a bit over the blade.

Noooo idea how to make it though, I've never attempted anything so technical and am having a lot of trouble finding any advice or tips on making curved-handle sabers.

its a bit rough at the moment, still has a fair bit of work to be done. pommel came out a bit bigger than id planned, but oh well!

Probably impossible due to mechanics, but I've wanted a double ended saber (here's the kicker) with a blade running through the middle (for blocking purposes.) I understand this would make wielding it really bad.

I like this. It has a nice Old Republic feel to it. It reminds me of the simple style of the first saber you get in the SWTOR game. But at the same time, it has a nice reference to a very familiar hilt to it. I'd say go for it. Especially if you can get those custom parts machined.

Nothing is impossible.  I could see it being done, though it certainly would be incredibly difficult, especially to wield.

So basically you want a Yuuzhan Vong Amphistaff.  It's solid and flexible as needed.  Bonus, it can spit venom!

It would be like three seperate sabers, one on each end and one in the middle. Each would have their own LED module. The switch and batteries would have to be external in some sort of a box or clamp. The body would have to be something similar to the shroud on the Councilar (I know I spelled that wrong). It would not be easy or cheap, but I can see it possible. The best dreams are the ones that you can make come true!

I've seen pictures of lightwhips where they used rope lights for the lash, if that helps.

Believe it or not I've always liked darth talons or pretty much anyone in the one sith order;  they had to use that coral like material on the hilt

What saber/weapon design is calling me? I have an idea in my head of a very aristocratic Jedi. I invision him as a prince from the Old Republic who studied the Jedi ways and then returned to rule is home world. This character would look very regal and elegant. His dress would not be that of the earth tone tunic but long flowing robes of blue, red and purple. He would have metalic armor with jeweled accents. His persona would scream royalty as soon as you saw him. He would be the King Arthur of the Star Wars galaxy.

The final piece would be a saber of equal royalty. Long polished silver hilt, like the Arbiter, but it would have elaborate engraving, like the engraving you see on old Colt revolvers and Winchester lever actions from the 1800's.   

This costume/character would have all of the prestige of a Sith Lord but with a lightside attitude.
