saber staff length

Earlier today I ordered a second Aeon v3 to make my staff, so mine will both be 36", which may be a bit too much as I'm already kinda short, but I'll make it work

im debating between the dark intitiate staff or the phantom staff. my big thought is actually more on hilt length. i saw how small the hilt is on the initiate staff and it makes me wonder how much length putting the flush adjustable cuplar in will add .

It adds about 2 inches to it. Full size staves are too long for my taste, so my vote would be for the Initiate. My Dominix is long enough by itself; I can't imagine making a staff out of two of them.

Surprisingly, two Initiate V3's with 32'' / 30'' blades separated by a single Yari makes for a very good saber staff length and gives you more hand room to work with.
I tried it out the other day.  I was really impressed.

I'm thinking initiate with the adjustable black cuplar it makes it a 21 inch hilt I think

That's correct. Initate v3 hilts are about 9.5" each, adding the coupler with 1.9" leads to an overall hilt length of about 20.9".

36 is nuts. 32 is much better. I'd actually go so far as to want 29-30. 24 seems a bit too short for my liking
