I got made redundant about 5 months ago, unfortunately still no job but I'm trying to stretch out the money they gave me as much as possible.
That said, I've bought two sabers, some house of Marley speakers, and now this costume (not to mention paying for bills etc). Hopefully I'll get something soon...
Anyways, I'm still struggling to find a top and decent belt at a good price, though if I was going as a Sith there seem to be a lot more options. Also, those boots come in black with a blue lining, and for £20 a pair I'm considering one of each...

i use a miltary type security belt. found on ebay for £20, er thats about $27?

Great call on that belt Faa-Yal, really great quality with plenty of options and pouches!
I've bought the boots, which are amazingly comfortable, and the hoodie so far. The hood could be a little  bigger but I can't complain for £12.
Now to find a decent top. At this rate I might see if I can get a cream/beige karate or aikido gi.

hey, thats cool man,  i think everyone should own one of these belts. did you get it in the end? i cut a hole in the bottom of the torch pouch, and my saber fits in it like a dream with the blade in. no more faffing around with a retention wrench!
and i have always looked at the idea of a karate gi, but in the end, you dont really blend in wearing one. i would look sweet though.
as for the top, my wife found a beige hoodie in primark of all places for a tenner. i have a pic of it somewhere on here, ill find the link for you.

Edit: Captain Numpty here just realised its at the beginning of this thread, and its also my hoodie in my sig . it's been a long day, ok?
