The Mad Professor

I would be Erebos, the personification of primordial darkness. The mask would be similar to this one:

but in shades of dark grey and black. My own powers naturally hide my eyes to where looking into the eyeholes simply shows a deep shadow, as if nothing is there.

My powers would be shadow walk and darkness/shadow manipulation. I would be able to step into a shadow and emerge from another. When looking at me, an observer's eyes tend to just slide off, making me operationally invisible (all they really see is a dark shape and can't make out any real features or dimensions. Walking into a room would cause a noticeable drop in light levels just from my presence, and I can generate darkness so complete that a floodlight can barely be seen from ten feet away. My control over darkness is so complete that I can generate solid objects out of it should I desire, including weapons and shields on par with advanced body armor (think Green Lantern, but with shadows instead of green light).

Despite the shadowy mystique of my powers and abilities, I lean toward the light side, and do not take contracts to do evil. I will take them for justice, but not evil.

EDIT: Nevermind. Apparently someone else had pretty much the exact same idea.

Hmm, well, I'd fall back on the character I've been playing in Comic Book Hero.

Rachel Noir, former policeman turned vigilante after the villain Vicki Hate killed her brother in a botched robbery. She's a Punisher-type anti-hero.

Being ex-police, she's a trained marksman, investigator and tracker, all of which give her boosts in game. Over the course of my play she's agreed to undergo a risky medical trial that's given her limited accelerated healing (not Wolverine fast, but heals from wounds in hours rather than days/weeks). She's also learned a number of fighting styles, and in addition to dual-wielding pistols she's also expanded her armoury so carries batons, stun grenades and a wrist-mounted flamethrower. Essentially she's a very good all-rounder, without excelling in any given skill - comparable to a Green Arrow, maybe.

Being outside the law and wholly focused on her goal of taking down criminals in general and Vicki Hate in particular, she doesn't normally wear a mask, but between the light body armour she wears, long hair and absolute focus on her goal to the point where her training has turned her into a peak physical specimen, and she's certainly no longer recognisable as the woman she once was. If she had to wear one, it'd be something functional - protective goggles with night vision and light-cancelling filters, probably.

My mask would be the mask of V / Anon made of blue tinted steel, with small spikes protruding from the surface, between witch shoots untold voltages of tiny lightning bolts. because of my electro-kenisis. will this turn into an RP, or is it still speculative? also, if anyone writes a story, I demand the right to write for my chracter, and be credited for such. or you could trade me the rights by mailing me some free US hilt parts (pm me for a list) for story writing, or RP.

No need to get all demanding lol...just a speculative exercise.
