But of course there were the confused basement dwellers, who simply emerged from their parents homes to begin the great Star Wars Trek (again, because Futurama) Many lives were lost on this great endeavor to walk somewhere to simply see Star Wars, since they had chosen to do it at the same time as the war was occurring...

George RR Martin when he was told to by his publishers to stop killing characters and to make the story more "friendly and less soul crushing". The announcement that a song of ice and fire would be more cheery gained mixed responses, some fans heralded this as the doom of the series others that it was an improvement, thus began the war of 2 fan groups. Ultimately this spilled over into the star trek wars. the world was on the brink of apocalypse of sci-fi proportions when....
