The local Sci-Fi convention is coming up and I am trying to decide on a costume, I'm either going to do a Jedi Shadow or a Senitel. so basically I'm trying to choose between 2 sabers or a staff. my costume right now consists of a grey hoodie with am off center side zip, black fitted pants and hand wraps and a jedi-esque brown belt. i'm going for a minimalist modern style look with not too much flare.

also if i go dual wield how would you go about attaching a saber without a cover-tech to your belt?

Sentinel and Shadow are the same thing, Shadow being a more specialized path.

Unless you meant in terms of TOR and weapon wielding.

I had to design a holster for my wife to make as I am without covertech's on my dual sabers BUT Sentinels still use staves as well, i.e. Bastilla Shan and the Jedi Temple Gaurds.

For a con, just for comfortability sake, I would suggest a staff since it can be carried with one hand.

Why not both?  Just bring the coupler with you and you can switch as needed.  Throw it in a pocket when you dual wield, and use it for a staff otherwise.

It wouldn't just be carrying the coupler, it would be carrying the two pommels aswel, unless you wanted the innards to fall out lol.
Plus, unscrewing everything over and over would get a bit tedious if you ask me

True, you'd have to carry the pommels too.  But really they aren't that heavy or bulky.  And I'm not saying you switch every 10 minutes or anything.  Maybe dual wield before lunch, and make a staff after lunch or something.   Never hurts to have options.

I recently discovered the prophecy pomel doubbles as a poor persons couppler for mhs sabers. I think im going to rock a staff with my prophecy shethed on ky belt. I can also bring my v2 pommels if I decide to switch.
