I can't remember the seller name but its Rubies Costumes. It'll be the one with all the hate comments but I had no problems with the costume BUT the elbow pads but I got those fixed easily. Just added some more Velcro and made them fit tighter. Do be careful though because the EVA foam is kinda fragile but its tough. I wouldn't know how to make the right shaped gun holster either for the blaster. xp

Not sure. I think all their deluxe costumes has the same materials. I do have a guitar strap I can use just for this purpose but how would I go about doing a loopy for my blaster? xp Give me ideas for everything. Lol. I don't want to have to hold my blaster all day.

Go to the hardware store and find some sort of velcro straps. I think they sell them for keeping extention cords neat . A craft store should also have something like this. Also get two 1" D-rings. Slip the D-rings on the straps and wrap the straps around the blaster in two spots. Then use your guitar strap. It will look like a nice quick field modification to your weapon.
Good Luck.

I already got my elbow pads fixed up with said Velcro. Lol. But thanks for the help anyway. =] My next costume piece buy will be a dark brown Jedi robe from JediRobeAmerica. I found one I really like. It'll be for when I do my Jedi character. It'll fit me perfectly because I'm 5 5. No short jokes. Heh. xp

Do you know anyone that can sew? Not trying to talk you out of something you have your heart set on, but those robes really are not that hard to make. There are a few patterns out there from Simplicity that can be easily modified to look more Jedi. Make the hood bigger and the sleeves fuller and you are all set. Making your own (or having someone make it for you) also gives you the advantage of picking the fabric you want. If you want inexpencive and practical, cotton flannel looks good and is functional. If you want to go all out, wool is usually easy to find. If you want light weight, linen. The sky is the limit. You may not save that much money going the home made route, but at least you know exactly what you are getting.
Just a thought. I really do not know how those robes you want are. They might be ok. My preference is just to make something myself.
Happy shopping.

We don't have a sewing machine yet so no go on that. xp Been wanting to get me one though to do my own full on tunic piece. That's all I really want anyway. Kind of Clone Wars era thing. How it seemed all Jedi wore was the tunic pieces. I'll get it figured out later on though. For now to wait for September for Comic Con. I don't really care if the try hards don't like my costume. Its all I can do for now. Heh. Gotta start somewhere right?

For what it is worth, I have nothing but a little Kenmore sewing machine. It is just simple, plain-jane machine for running stitches and it is great. The only problems I have ever had were when I tried to sew too many layers of thick fabric, like canvas. It will sew canvas, just not 4 layers of it. It is agreat little machine and it was not expensive. It is also pretty fool proof in terms of setting it up. If you are really thinking about getting a sewing machine in the future, you do not need to spend a ton of money to get a decent machine. And it is a lot of fun to make your own costumes. I have something I am working on right now that I should be posting pics of soon. It is totally non-canon but it is something I always thought would look cool.
Anyway, your clone costume looks great and I am sure you will find a cool Jedi robe. Have fun at your convention.
