Ok so I'm new to the "saber world" and I found UltraSabers and thought its down right the coolest sabers ever but, my question is if I sent a picture in via however would you guys make a custom saber that way? If not how do I add my own touch to a saber without going to "build your own saber" on your site? Here's another example, I love the phantom v3 staff but I'd like it with brass instead of the silver to help accent black the way I want if it is possible to do that how? Thanks for any help

Alright but I want to keep the black and change only the silver rivets to "brass" is that what you were referring to?

Light sabers can be built to order using smaller saber smiths.  These are often very detailed and usually very expensive.  The best saber smiths often have a wait list for many months before the can accept new sabers.  But if you want exceptional detail, this is nice way to go.

UltraSabers fills the gap between the Toy/Replica sabers and the expensive one-off sabers.  They offer a reasonable set of options and fast assembly.

So within the options shown, they are nice way to get a duel-worthy saber quickly.

Outside of that, you will have to customize the sabers yourself or look to a specialty saber smith.

US doesn't do much of anything in the way of special order custom work like that. About the most they'll do for a special order is fine tune the blade color to something non-standard if you email them about it and arrange it before making your purchase.

HOWEVER.... what you want done is pretty easy to do. I would recommend that you head down to your local craft or model store and pick up a small jar of gold model paint. It shouldn't cost you more than a couple bucks (literally lol), and get a small brush. You may want to keep a paper index card or something like that around to help you keep from going outside the grooves, but I've done just this sort of customization work on some of my own sabers, and some for friends, and it's VERY easy. Also, in my experience, the paint doesn't tend to wear off too easily when it's inside the grooves. Even if it does, you can just add a little clearcoat to seal it. You may want to lightly sand the grooves first to help the paint adhere. Be careful to sand ONLY the grooves, otherwise you'll be weathering the saber and scratching up that nice black finish. lol

Hope that's helpful! Smiley

Actually he did answer you.   Smiley  Send an email to [email protected] detailing what you would like to do and they will let you know if they can do it and the price.
