That is an awesome costume.
I like your choice of color scheme the gray and black is quite distinct.
Adding the cape was a great idea. It gives the entire costume an aristocratic feel, like that of a Jedi diplomat/negotiator. If that's what you were going you did a great job, if not it is still a great costume.

I agree. The colors are a great choice, it makes you stand out from all of the brown. I love the cape. Definately a nobelman feel to the costume. Well done. |

I just got into Rebel Legion so I can tell you a little of what to expect. They will likely be fine with everything you have (I would think, I am not a costume judge), but the cape they might have issues with. I made a cloak and was told it was too short and the hood as not full enough. My cloak was ankle lenght so I would not trip over it and I made the hood 50% larger than the pattern called for and that still was not enough. However, they said I could wear the cloak, it just did not count as a "formal" item for the requirements list. I ended up having to get a set of food capsules to have the required three items. Again, they were fine with me wearing the cloak, it just did not count.
I can see them telling you the same thing about your cape. As long as you have the food capsules, belt pouches, and under tunic, you should be fine. The cape would just not "count."
I would not run out and buy other stuff just on my word, I am no costume judge. I just went through this recently so I can tell you my expirence. They might think differently about your costume, it is really up to them. I would just advise to be patient with them and do not get discouraged if they ask you to tweek something. You came a long way and have a very impressive costume. The Rebel Legion Generic Jedi catagory is a tough thing to nail down and leaves a lot of room for interpretation. You have an excellent and unique theme going with your Jedi nobelman look (I really like it a lot and it suits you well) , I would stick with it and make small adjustments at their recommendation. Good luck and let us know what the costume judges say.
