Seems like I can't pass on season deals (discount plus free Initiate), 2/2 now  Ordered an Emerald Consular w/ Guardian pommel. I already have some customization ideas (think of my Sith Oppressor, but this time more of a fallen Jedi theme). Hopefully my Sith outfit from Twin Roses will arrive soon so that I can post some pictures in costume (the weather's finally getting Spring-y in this part of the world). |

Hey guys,
New to these forums and the saber scene, but had to post my giddiness over ordering my 1st US saber today.
After some serious research and browsing I've finally gone for the 4 Channel (RGBA) Emerald Catalyst with Orange Illuminated AV switch.
Obviously the 4 channel means the world is your oyster as far as colours etc go but I'm intending to primarily run a Pyrestone Orange type set up ( maybe a tad more red) but it's the "realistic" flicker/pulse I'm most looking forward to setting up. Coupled with the FoC options from the Emerald Driver well I just can't wait!!
I'm UK based so probably got a reasonable wait on my hands now. Still will give me plenty of time to get a few themes and ideas down before it arrives!!
Managed to order in time to get a free initiate as well. What are people's experiences with those grab bag deals? Are the initiates totally random as far as features go or does it tend to be a bare bones saber? All great for free of course. Just curious as to what may end up getting sent!
Will be sure to post pic and a review after my saber arrives. There don't seem to be too many Catalyst reviews around ATM.

Interesting, very interesting.. I was giving some thought to ordering the exact same saber, (though with RGBW), even down to the orange av switch.

Hey Bleak! Fellow UK dweller here, and don't be so sure. You're looking at a week ish. Which is damned fast IMO.  Nice choice on the saber! You're right, there's not too many Catalyst reviews up, I think its because there's more showy sabers out there. Those that do have one love them though. As for the free initiate, the grab bag type offers tend to be Either AAA or Li-ion setup stunt sabers (no sound) But as you said, still a great offer. |

I'm stunned they actually do offers like this Will certainly bare it in mind when timing any future purchases!! I can see how The Catalyst may not be some peoples 1st choice. But I just loved the whole sleek nature of it as soon as I saw it, will get pics up ASAP |

Now you see you've gone and got me all excited again Just as I was trying to put it to the back of my mind for a bit lol I placed my order Thursday (27th) morning, US shipped it on the same evening, and FedEx tracking says it will be in Sweden this Thursday. Only 5 working days Regarding the Catalyst, I really like the dark version, but I don't like the fact that the neck is attached to the body through wiring. It would be pretty sweet if you could use that neck+emitter combo on other sabers. |

Hello all, I just ordered a Scorpion in Dark violet amethyst (emerald) on friday and cannot wait to get it in. Just in time for the free initiate deal too! This will be my first US and from what I'm hearing delivery sounds like a quick turn around. I paid extra for the expedited shipping so and will be working with twin roses on my sith robes soon. Hopefully I'll have the saber by friday

No complaints here. I placed my last order last week Wednesday and it should be here in ... about an hour or so. :-)
I put the order in Wednesday, they shipped it Thursday evening, that's one day from order to dock.
Two day delivery and WHAMO. :-)
Three business day turn-around. It could very well be they manufacture in a T.A.R.D.I.S. It would explain much...
