i am patiently (not really, cmon) waiting for my Prophecy SRD. its a midgrade regular blade, with rounded tip.
its my first saber, and slapped myself for not realizing the time i was ordering it in. the crew was at dragon-con this past weekend AND its labor day weekend.
then i slapped myself in the face once more realizing that US is based out of CA, and i'm only in las vegas NV, so 2 day shipping (especially at this time) was kinda overkill. my reasoning for it was that it was only 2 dollars more than regular shipping
after my face started to hurt i had to think of some good things
i was excited about my purchase cause its such an elegant saber. before i chose it i had to decide whether or not sound was impt to me. eventually no sound won. one for the money it saves. two if i'm practicing in my backyard at night, i dont want to be annoying the neighbors.
the SRD color was just so unique, and that name! no offenses to my light side comrades, but i felt regular blue and green was becoming cliche, although i'd feel if i got more sabers i'd run into those for variety.
yesterday i adjusted my budget a little, and solved my battery crisis. i hopped over to amazon to get some sanyo eneloops. i bought two 4 packs of AAAs and a charger. came out much cheaper than getting that batt+charger combo for 36 and another pack of AAAs. i used the money i saved from that adjustment to get a copy of The Jedi Path. the standalone hardcover release comes out tomorrow.
all in all its been one crazy adventure, and my saber isnt even here yet!

I love the sound of your Bane. I'm a big fan of atypical builds, so seeing a very Jedi build with a beast of a Sith saber like the Bane sounds totally cool. I'm sure it will be great! |

I'm patiently awaiting the return of the dsi staff. I've stared at this thing for months, read every review,obsessed over every picture and i'm ready to order today. But anything worth having is worth waiting for so i remain patient and hope to hear some news soon.

I'm patiently waiting for my new Dominix V2 LE order. I got the saber just today, it'll be in Blazing Red with a Mid Grade blade. Hope to get it this weekend. =] I decided to get a Sith saber this time, already have a Jedi saber which is my Liberator saber in Consular Green with Mid Grade blade and the Liberator saber was my first ever Ultra Saber and I got that last year.
