Emory sent me an email last night that made me want to facepalm at myself.
AS for the main blade Emerald setting from the factory doesn't work when you have channel 4 running your side blades.
D'oh!
It's even sillier, since I never intended to leave the main blade set to AS any longer than it would take to fire it up for the first time, then immediately hook it up to my computer to start matching main blade colors to what I'm going to get from the AS side blades using LEE filters.
Still, I'm hoping that means that they'll have it finished and on its way to me soon...but set to DVA since purple filters are going to be the first one's I'm going to try for the side blades.
And, again, CS at US is great.

Waiting on my new Archon V2.1 saber to ship still  Stunt Consular Green with regular Heavy Grade blade this time for that nice classic glow and classic silver pommel. Will most likely ship uh, this weekend sometime and probably get it middle of next week I'm hoping for |

Nice. I have the v3 with the silver pommel and CG. I love the feel of that hilt in my hands. You won't want to put it down.

I am itching so badly to get my Flamberge V2. Can't wait to start playing with color settings, and taking a crapton of pictures of a crossguard saber in a whole host of colors.
It's probably worse that this will be my last purchase for a few months, we've got some expenses coming up and I'm going to have a hiccup in my GI Bill payments while school's not in session.

Dark Sentinel LE v4 saber staff with 32" red blades
and my mates
Phantasm LE v4 saber staff with 36" arctic blue blades
I'm about 5'7" with my 32s. Buddy is about 5'6" and went with 36s. I think he's going to struggle, unless he mainly does single wielding.
Anyway waiting (not) patiently.....

When did you order it?
2nd Dec . . . and it always takes about a week to get to Australia once I've got the FedEx tracking details . . . so all going well it'll get here "just in time" . . .  Interestingly my previous last order was late October about 5 weeks before this one, and the difference between these two order numbers is 10,408  . . . so if thats right, there's been over 10,000 orders in 5 weeks, over 2,000 per week, I'm guessing many with multiple sabers per order, but even with 2,000 per week is 286 per day (thats working 7 days) and thats 29 sabers per hour (if working 10 hrs per day) and thats nearly 1 saber every 2 minutes . . . OMG these guys are busy right now . . . Emory, you and the US team deserve a medal (and a holiday) |
