I ordered a Dark Apprentice V4 in BR with sound, windows in emmiter, scorpion pommel, and black with red illuminated AV switch on 1/3/15. Can't wait!

They ship from Friendswood, Texas. Normally, within the U.S. it should not take more than a week. International shipping may take up to two weeks, depending on different factors.

So I made my decision and placed my order.  After first looking at getting an Initiate then an Aeon or Dominix I eventually opted for Standard Issue Battle Saber v3 with Obsidian Lite [Blade LED Color:Consular Green] [Flash on Clash:No Flash] [Obsidian Lite Battery Configuration:Standard Setup] [Blade Length:36" Standard Size] [Blade Option:Mid Grade] [Obsidian Lite Sound:Obsidian Lite Soundboard] [Pommel:Regular Vented Pommel (hole in bottom) [Recommended]] [Switch Type (Momentary):Silver Non-Illuminated AV Switch] [Blade Tip:Round Tip] [Include Retention Screw Wrench:Sure!] [Include Blade Plug:Yes, Include Standard Plug] [Include Saber Stand:No Thanks] [Include Covertec Clip:Yes!] [Install Covertec Wheel:Yes ($10 install + $4 covertec)] Just got to wait up to 5 weeks for it to arrive. I've already got plans for mods, o'rings in the grooves, leather cord or string wrapping for better grip, also toying with the idea of putting carbon wrap on certain parts but I'm not sure about that. |

FYI to anyone concerned about having their saber show up at their house (or worse, at work, considering some people's jobs have strict no-weapons policies), I have submitted a question via email to US about the possibility of having the saber ship for hold at a FedEx location. I'll let you guys know what if anything I find out.

it depends on its intended use... example, A baseball bat is a weapon by it self, if there is a ball and glove, then it is not. A package can only legally be opened by the recipient so it is just a box until you open it. I do not get things delivered to my work, ever. but to each their own. either way, I honestly think that it might just be easier for you to contact fedex to request a hold at a local facility once your tracking number goes live. It complicates the shipping process for US. BUT!!! that is in face exactly what delivery services specialize in. |
