Well, it happened. My wife is getting a Dark Sentinel v4, Violet Amethyst with Obs. Lite sound. Wish I would have hit the Powerball.  |

So, this is what happened. My saber was shipped on Friday with the Standard Overnight option. FedEx does standard deliveries on Saturdays. Me: I should get my first saber tomorrow! Saturday comes. No saber. I check the tracking number and it's still in TX?! Wait, call FedEx and see what's going on. My saber was shipped as Standard 2 BUSINESS DAY! (insert obligatory Vader "NOOO" meme)

Saturday delivery is a completely different service from typical overnight service and would cost you an extra $25 or more per package, depending on what the Saturday surcharge is up to by now.

Well, it is possible for something to take a flight on Saturday or go through the sort even without Saturday service...but it won't be delivered on a Saturday. The one exception to that is FedEx Ground, which DOES do Saturday delivery to residences at no additional charge. But with Express there will always be a Saturday surcharge. |
