Hi Moggarth, Sorry to hear about your saber delay. To help, if the item was in stock when you ordered, then typically your item was placed aside for you as you have claimed and paid for it. Secondly, the obsidian lite boards are currently on a 6-8 business day backorder which means all obsidian lite orders are currently stalled. (mine included). If your saber doesn't ship within the next 10-12 days, I'd send ultrasabers an email asking what's going on. Cheers

Well...
I just got my 1st orders delivered, yesterday and I have gone and ordered another Emitter and Pommel. I love that the Manticore is able to accept MHS Emitters and Pommels.
Once I get this order, I will be able to put together various configurations. This should keep me busy enough so I don't buy another Hilt for at least a couple of months. Since I was able to use my rewards points, the purchase was a lot less painful to my wallet as well.
I will post pictures of the different configurations later this weekend.

As I mentioned, in an email to US customer service, they told me that the LITE soundboard is what they are currently out of stock on, which is why Obsidian V3, V4, and stunt sabers are going out first. They told me they expect to recieve more soundboards in 6-8 business days as of yesterday (so now 5-7) and then they'd be fabricating the LITE orders from where they left off. So, if you're a late December order, you should be in the first wave. I know the fabrication time is listed at 3-4 weeks, and obviously as a consumer it is your option if you want to wait longer than that or want a refund. But you really aren't too far off at this point...and I'm not defending them, certaintly not, but I believe they expected to be busy, but not THIS busy. These aren't $40 walmart sabers, these are art pieces, and the market of dropping $300+ on essentially a toy probably wasn't expected to reach into the 6,000+ order mark. It sucks, but they really are a good company who is just backlogged and doing the best they can to fulfill these orders. If you do wait, you certaintly won't be dissapointed with their product, I'll tell you that! Cheers!

@sunnycoastsabers @nick8007 if they would of contacted me at least to mention this then I would at least have some understanding but still then I don't think it would resolve the matter. It is disappointing to call for a refund at this point but as a saber or any other product manufacturer (regular toy or art piece), whatever the product lead time dictates is what it should stick to. If for any reason the product fabrication is delayed (like a recent release of a movie) then that needs to be recognised when the consumer places the order. Contrary to what this post sounds like I am not angry or mad just more disappointed as I was very much looking forward to receiving the saver but at this point I will be recalling my money should they fail to ship my order before the lead time. It May be a a specialised item but the cost alone covers the service and manufacture and at this point I am sad to say I have been let down.

I should also state that I have no doubt these guys work very hard to try and get things moving as quickly as possible and try to deliver the best product they can and any other time of the year they would (and notably have been) have followed through. I am just disappointed with the poor consideration to the product demand after the premier and the lack of communication with the chstomer.

I ordered mine on the 27th December and it is still processing..I understand they are busy with the crazy Star Wars period but they need to account for that when people place orders. I have emailed asking for information as the 4 week lead time is up this Sunday but I haven't heard anything. If I don't at least hear back from them I am going to be demanding a full refund and I will be contacting my bank and citizens advice to claim back the money I have already spent. As I said these guys must work hard but if the lead time exceeds the stated when purchasing the order then as a consumer it is misleading... We shall see as I can't see it being shipped before Sunday. If this was something cheaper it might draw less of my attention although I would still chase it up but having spent over $300 I expect more...
I understand you're frustrated, but 3-4 weeks means 3-4 weeks and getting it shipped earlier would be a bonus... Give it the full month before you complain, at the very least.

truth is, that waiting is a part of life. if you leave now then you forfeit your place in line and sure you get your money back but you still wont have a saber and your timer resets to 0. I agree, points *edit* I just received shipping notification on my saber sent in for repairs. I am waiting for fedex to update the tracking in their system, but I am impressed, That was fast, unbelievably fast. It just got there and its apparently ready to return to me.
