That should be fine, then. The e-mail says how much I owe in UKL, which I can only assume is some cackhanded way of writing 'pounds' or 'GBP'. If it's actually in United Kingdom Lira, I may have a problem paying in an imaginary currency  Thanks, and +1! The L could be Libra, that's Pound in spanish... |

Just had an update from UPS that "The receiver must pay the duties or taxes due on the package." Anyone know if that's something I need to do now, or if I'll just get an invoice through in the next few days? That's what happened with FedEx, but I don't want to have my delivery delayed if they need to be paid now, and I have to wait until tomorrow to check with UPS in the UK.
I got the same. You can either phone up customer services to pay, or I've one paid the UPS driver by card at the point of delivery. In a way I guess it's better than FedEx invoicing you later, because it's a more visible way of doing it. Rather than a bill coming a bit out of the blue a week or so later. |

My parcel has made it to Newark... Which I hope is progress I checked with UPS and I have to wait until it's in the UK and pay the driver of clear it with customer services. I'll do the latter, just in case. The adventure continues!  |

My parcel is now in Philladelphia... I supose mine is going in another direction more to the south. I still havent recieved any email from UPS saying about paying taxes or anything. I supose Canary Islands are treated diferent and at the end Ill end up paying 7% of tax only... Hopefully.
