Ordered tonight from a competitor, got order confirmation and a notice that it is already being prepared to ship, estimated arrival time of 3-5 days. Granted, I know it's not made from scratch more or less like US sabers, but the fact that I should be getting a saber I ordered tonight before the one I ordered on May 5th is a bit aggravating .

They said it would be another 8 to 10 weeks.

Wait.... WHAT??? 8-10 weeks? That's not ok... You need to just ask for a refund at that point.

For an order going that far back, yeah, I'd definitely give it a shot.  Let us know how you make out.

As much as I'm all for being patient, if I was looking at a wait time that long, I'd probably throw in the towel and try to opt for a different hilt.   But, then again, things happen.   Who knows?

I'm not sure if I would or not. The hilt I ordered is exactly the one that I want, not sure if I'd be happy with any other. But I've got 2 sabers (I got a 2 for 1 deal elsewhere) on the way. Gonna do some dueling with my nephew in the coming weeks. He's been depressed because of some stuff that's been going on in his personal life and the idea of doing some dueling is the only thing that's gotten him excited in months. And since the saber I ordered from here is mostly for costuming purposes, I can wait. Still annoyed by the complete lack of customer service here, but I don't really want any other hilt.

Wow, that's terrible. I really do like the US product, and I honestly hope this is just a bad period for the company. Hopefully they turn things around sooner than later.

After 10 weeks to then be told that it would be another 8 weeks would be too much for me.

I was told after 5 weeks that my Fallen would be another 3-4 and even that was on the edge for me.... I can't imagine waiting 18 weeks for a saber that is listed as "In Stock"

I hope so too; I'm already so into this hobby (frankly, I'm in need of a good hobby to get into) and there are a lot more products I'd like to get from ultrasabers.   It would be great if this was just a bad bump in the road.

Its a very cool thing to get into but make sure your not just collecting  for its own sake get out then work out with them

Oh, trust me, even though there are specific ones I want for a collection, these are not going to be hung on a wall.  My kids and I will be giving these things a proper workout.

One thing I'd love to do is to buy a few of the lower cost, "plain looking" stunt sabers, and have my youngest son's cousin and best friend over to decorate and customize the hilts as a fun project, and then they can keep the sabers for themselves.  I'd try my hand at that as well.

i have a same kinda idea with my students as a reward for there hard work, most of my student were close to doing their test for  green, if things fall right i will hand those into weapons a saber along with the new belts

No FedEx updates today...still in transit from Cypress, TX, apparently.

That's okay, though; tomorrow will be a busy day so it should fly by.  My 17 year old's Senior Year photo shoot.   He ended up losing so much of his junior year to Coronageddon, i just hope his last year of high school goes properly.  It'll be bittersweet, but we're getting used to that.
