The only thing against the Grand Master is a review vid I saw that said it was top-heavy and didn't have much actual hilt to grab onto while spinning. But since I can't twirl a blade worth a damn anyway (I'm basically Luke in his first training session on the Falcon), that's acceptable.

BTW, has anyone ordered a Lite Sound hilt, vented coupler and then a Stunt version of same hilt? Does the sound of one saber work for a staff version if the other is a Stunt? |

I ordered a dark catalyst stunt saber (had been debating between that and a catalyst as my next saber, anyway). Not quite 24 hours for me. I was cynically wondering if they really were ready to ship. This is encouraging!
And OMG, it just shipped! And I noticed that they aren't using USPS anymore. While I am a big supporter of the Postal Service, I don't want to wait another 8 days for delivery. Woo-Hoo! While this was listed as one of their "ready to ship" sabers, they still had to assemble it to my (admittedly spartan) specifications. I'm happy. Hopefully, this is a turning point for the company. NOT that I'm planning to order anything more than parts for a long while. I'm eyeing the 3.5" tsuba from TCSS to make a lightshinai.  |

Yeah, i had my heart set on the Graflex, the ten year old inside me was upset at first, but the more i looked at the Guardian, the more i fell in love. Darth Paradigm on Youtube has a good review on it.
His enthusiasm for the hilt is infectious!
Tuesday can't come quick enough!

Well I decided while waiting for my first order (14 weeks and counting with no contact) I would see if the Guardian on the Flash Sale is actually in stock. So I ordered a Guardian with a Guardian Blue blade and Lite sound. Maybe that will tide me over until the big order gets here (if it ever does).

Don't see why not. The sound from one or both sabers would be coming from the same place: the vented pommel. Not sure how FOC would look. I totally plan on doing this, though with unlike hilts. |

So, I just tried this. As I suspected, Sound is fine, swing works, but Flash on Clash doesn't really register when striking the stunt end of the staff. |
