You know, I think I figured out a way to jump the mental hurdle of the Fallen seeming too big.

It's patterned after the Fallen Order lightsaber, and that saber originally belonged to Jaro Tapal, a hulk of a Jedi.  It only makes sense that the thing would be huge!  That's why it feels so big, because it was designed for someone half again as big as we are!

I mean, look at the size of this saber (cropped for spoilers):

You're right!  Putting together two real Fallens would create a weapon almost as long as its blades. XD

I did try that and it looked fine, but the LED still rattled up and down a little.  I may need to cut a length of PVC pipe to fix that problem.
The Fallen sure is a beautiful saber, I just wish it were about two-thirds as big as it is.

My led doesn't seem to move at all, seemed the emitter is holding it down so I cannot comment on that.
I actually find the size great. It's not the greatest for spinning, mainly for me due to the box and also the grip which I love however it does scratch the hand a bit on lose hand movement. 
But as a fighting saber it feels great to use

So... I've heard back from US about my orders status.
Spectre with engravings, a first batch is expected 1-3 weeks from now. BUT Spectre without is available and my order could ship in 1-2 days.
Black empress without engravings, further delays, no lead time so far. BUT Black empress with engravings is available and my order could ship in 1-2 days.

So... What the f do I do.
I wanted my Spectre with engravings. And 1-3 weeks isn't such a stretch since I ordered in July.

As for the black Empress... I don't really like it with the engravings. But it wouldn't matter because I'd most likely add wrapping to it. So... to get it sooner, and without further informations about how much longer I'd need to wait, I'm quite tempted to swap it...

I also received an email from US CS about Empress availability, I also ordered the Empress w/out engravings, and a Aeon v4
"We have received our Aeon v4 hilts from our Machine Shop, so we are just waiting on the Empress now. We are expecting a shipment of Empress WITH Engraving on November 20, if you would like to change your order to WITH Engraving"
So I changed my order, and then got a response "Once we receive the sabers from our Machine Shop, all orders will ship out in 2-3 business days"

Maybe it was a misunderstanding, or different batch  ... please keep us updated if you change your order and US ships it to you as commented

Nope you're right. I thought it was the same for both the Spectre and the Empress. But the email says black empress with engravings around 23rd of November. So we have the same info.
I'm still hesitant. I think I'll wait a bit to see what's up with the no engravings Empress.

I'd wait. That Spectre with the engravings is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! I know some people like the plain look,  but if the  engraved saber is what you've always been wanting, you won't be satisfied with anything else. You'll look at it and say, I really like this saber....BUT.... Get the saber you want, it will be worth the wait. Just my two cents.

Agreed. Based on he last message I received, the Combat Fallen LE should be in stock on November 9th. Then 1-3 days to complete and ship. Crossing fingers to hope it stays on this time table.
