My 3 year old and I were having our usual epic morning saber duel with his Hasbro Anakin and my Custom Disneyland Hasbro and he fell to the dark side... I  am so disappointed ... We have never really talked about Jedi vs Sith other than him watching the movies ...

Me; Are you a Jedi or a Sith ? Are you with me or against me ?

3 year old:  Jedi are bad guys ! (Then he does a high power strike down on to me)

Me: Jedi are the good guys Sith are evil

3 year old: Jedddddi are evvvvil

Me: I thought you were my Palawan

3 year old: No ! I am the good guy !


Hmm I suppose it was fitting buying him that Anakin saber for Easter ... I guess it's now time for a Red Blade

I am so disappointed ... I thought I raised him right ...

And so the Dark Side compels yet another promising individual. He shall know power, and strength. He shall rise above his Master, and his fist shall fall with the strike of one-thousand Rancors. The child has purpose.

But will he pass the trials of the Sith? Only time will tell.

We will be watching. Waiting. Guiding his Destiny. The Dark Side shall set him free!

But in reality, perhaps he's a bit confused on the whole Jedi/Sith thing? Or merely playing out what he perceived in the movies? Ah, the mind of a child. I miss those days~

When I was that age, I rooted for the wrong guys, too. I only grew out of this in my early twenties, when I realized that being a harsh, uncompromising good guy is way better than being a baddie.

My sympathies Master Kresnik.

Bad guys are fun to play, you gotta admit.  They also have the really cool gear and colorful characters.  Maybe you can slowly guide him to the light by showing him anti-heroes like Galen Marek and Han Solo 

give it time, he'll come around.  Until then, just focus on the Code and how selfless is a good thing, and selfish is a bad thing.  It's a good moral start for a young one.
