Lol nice try, they are basically indestructible unless the movie director wants them to die...no just a basic model terminator Smiley

T-1000 series were weak to extremely high temperatures.  The high temperatures changed the molecular structure of its mimetic polyalloy.  In this hypothetical situation, they could be damaged/destroyed by the high temperatures of lightsaber blades and the Predators' plasma casters.

Additionally, I'm fairly certain that Terminators would have a way of dealing with their own kind in an emergency situation. Surely Skynet wouldn't leave itself so vulnerable to a simple malfunction of a basic model Infiltrator.

However, since Rel makes the rules, I'll go with Force user.

You might want to be a bit more specific as to what you mean by "basic model"...

according to a wiki page I found, SkyNet discontinued the T-1000 series due to it being able to override SkyNet directives and make its own decisions in some cases and they were so resilient.  The subsequent T-X was specifically designed to terminate other terminators.

I suppose as long as they are not shape hanging near invunerable types then it would be fine, just avoiding the godling syndrome.

Without going all crazy about the specifics the terminators could come in humanoid, non-humanoid, tank, drone, squid, etc.  Smiley

I get what you're saying Rel, and I agree that god-mode characters are bad.  Personally, I think a T-X should not be allowed, since they can basically hack any other machine and you have to nuke em to kill them.

That being said, I would choose my go-to character, Mando Jedi.   Cool

With your aforementioned basic TK as the only Force ability?

Yes, but with a question.  Is sensing disturbances in the force and other stuff like heightened reflexes considered "force powers" in this scenario?

Minor touches are good...but no Force "insert" like jumping and punching, but sensing life forces, better then average senses/reflexes sure Smiley

If I went the Terminator route, I'd want to be a dual character. Specifically, a reprogrammed small-framed infiltrator (female skin sheath) with a reprogrammed Moto-Terminator as a companion. This unit, under the alias of Kiera Hawking, was sent to Infiltrate the Resistance and gather intelligence. First posing as a friend, Kiera later actually became friends with them all, experiencing rudimentary emotions. This was Skynet's design all along: To understand human camraderie so that they could kill them better. When ordered to terminate the cell, Kiera refused. Skynet then attempted to override her programming and commit the terminations, to which Kiera resisted. Her bonds with her friends were too great for her to simply throw away. It was not logical. In an epic battle of wills between Kiera's rudimentary emotions and Skynet's near limitless processing abilities, Kiera was able to buy time for her compatriots to get away. In what could only be described as fury, Skynet ordered her return for disassembly, to which she refused, jabbing herself in the comms with a piece of debris and removing it from her systems. Now completely free from Skynet control, yet unable to return to the Resistance, she struck out on her own to protect her friends from the shadows and bring war to Skynet. Along the way, she found a deactivated Moto-Terminator and, after ripping out its comms, reactivated and reprogrammed it.

*********************************************************

If I went Force-sensitive, I'd go with Mechu-deru as a force ability, which allows me to intuitively know the inner workings of Terminators and allows me to reprogram them with greater effectiveness than any other TechCom member. Of course, this would make me a prime target of Skynet. My own lightsaber would be adegan silver, and the hilt would be plain in design, but very efficient in power consumption and set with several extra modifications.

*********************************************************

Not sure if I'd go Yaut'ja. The weaponry would be amazing, but the warrior with honor ethos just wouldn't fly with Terminators around. If I played the character right, I'd be dead.

Not sure why a warrior with honor would hinder you...I think that the Yaut'ja would be a good choice.  They can take a lot of punishment, have advanced weapons and huge amount of strength.  They are very agile and cunning too.  I can see them going toe-to-toe with terminators if need be, or setting up traps and ambushes, which have been shown to be effective against terminators.

Arguably, Jedi seem to be the underdogs of the bunch.

The predators was really just an after thought...I would rather stick with Force Users and Reprogrammed Machines.

As far as the machines, since the idea is to take from several sources...so I will further define the machines with the potential options...

Cyborg/Prototype Terminator...project that attempted to use the humans as biological machines, with control units connected to the brain stem, some had other sections replaced but these were incidental and usually in an effort to repair battle or related injuries...this was considered a failure by the machines and these were scheduled for disposal and or recycling...so rather rare.

GW-1...general worker...they were fairly common throughout the factories and preforming mundane tasks, relatively easy to reprogram but not that common today as they were easy targets not having any combat programing and many were used for parts by the remaining machines...they are slightly stronger and faster than a human but only just, no armor, and susceptible to mundane damage.

T-1 Endo...basic humanoid combat model, metal skeleton, hard point armor, strong, durable, limited programming...just will not stop...many can be seen crawling without legs, steady pursuing targets...the skeleton look is to allow the handing of flesh as well as the psychological affect on humans.

The T-1 can be found coated in an organic flesh/skin or mounted onto a vehicle, usually the legs removed and installed into a motorcycle, small tracked or wheeled ATV, or even flying craft though the fliers are the most rare to be reprogrammed as they tend to be too damaged from the fall during capture for use.

Squid...made to operate in water, space, and within complex structures (they do not fly as per Matrix) these were meant for maintenance, construction, and repairs primarily but were later used as hunters...rather easy to secure though tricky to reprogram due to the complex computer brain.

That should be enough for our example.

Why would the main AI allow the reprogrammed to exist?  The humans shield the brain from the broadcast signals so they are off the grid, and mostly because the main AI is gone off planet...in context the lunatics are left running the asylum.  The hunters hunt, the recyclers recycle, etc.  If a recycler catches a human it will recycle him or her.

The remaining AI is limited and in classic Hollywood fashion, damaged.

Darn, I was intrigued by the Predators in this whole situation.  Would have made a very interesting hunting ground for them.

I would take a Jedi type for sure.

Defend humanity.

If I could have the modified TK, the EMP that would be cool...shield his light saber...could be a hindrance to others due the EMP ruining human equipment also, so a specialist for sure.

The most useful ability would most likely be the general TK push and pull.

Healing would be most appreciated for survival, every party needs a cleric lol.

The light saber would come in handy for sure.

As noted before the Jedi types could enjoy a parkour style of flowing movement, good reflexes, decent endurance, strong senses, etc.

Yes I would take a Jedi type.

So let us drop the Predators...they were an after thought...and add...Mutants!

Lol  Not X-Men, so mute your excitement.

More like another project.  The Jedi types came out of the organic energy research projects.  The mutants came out of the flesh/skin projects, trying to make perfect organic machines...like many of the rushed projects it had limited success.

Mutants are tougher, stronger, some are larger, some are faster, but all are considered ugly by all mundane humans...there are no pretty mutants, but that said they are most welcome as added muscle to fight the good fight against the machines.

Mutants do not have any powers, no connection to the Force, and can not use light sabers...but they are physical specimens.

Most have twice the mass, 375-400lbs average...micro nerve clusters through out the body for increased muscle reaction...increased hormones, adrenal glands, etc. grant burst speed and strength...etc.

Big, strong, tough, fast.

Most can shrug off mundane damage like rain.

(ok maybe not that ugly lol...some more than others...but no pretty or even so so...butt ugly is the norm)

Here is a list of common mutations in addition to the basic form

1. over sized arm, stronger
2. larger, stronger
3. leathery hide, tougher
4. oversized upper body, the gorilla, stronger
5. longer limbs, faster (can move on all fours and climb like a nutter)
6. hardened flesh, partial armor, tougher
etc.
