Well, actually, I think it has been updated somewhere that Students and Graduates can choose paths. there is Student at Arms, Student at Guard, Graduate at Arms, Graduate at Guard.

And on my personal part of this post: I'm pretty depressed right now, but that's all your going to hear of it... besides- I found out almost a year ago that I can't enlist... unless I lie about having autism and asthma, but I still decided to take ROTC, because I thought it would be fun. Turns out it's not. I am taking new classes that make it so that my lunch schedule is separated from my friends. The group that I did hang out with at lunch booted me out because "I talk too much"... and you know it's too much stress being within the bottom level of the top dogs and not enough benefit. All of my friends in ROTC are officers in full-blown leadership positions, but I don't have time for that AND prepare for collage and life after high school... so in other words, I'm a Sr. Airman, which is the highest attainable permanent rank, so people expect me to lead, but there's no room for me to lead because everyone else is being lead by someone else!
     Look at me, I'm wearing my emotions on my sleeve. Wake me up when September ends.

We all have moments like that, man. It's no problem to vent, I've learned we are a very tolerant community. I admire that you are able to say that to all your friends, it's what we're here for.

When I was in High School I was told by a marine corps recruiter that if I was off meds without incident for a year the marines would take me, so I stopped taking my meds and worked really hard on emotional control for two years, and then I learned that foreign objects permanently lodged in the head is an automatic disqualifier. I tried getting into the coast guard and was told the same. My senior year of high school I pretty much self destructed and alienated most of my friends. You are not alone, and "talking too much" won't drive any of us away.

The night is darkest just before the sun rises, the seas are roughest before the storm dies, and the steel of virtue is tempered by the fires of adversity. these phrases sound like nonsense but they are filed with truth. If you ever need help shoot me a PM, I am here and I will do anything I can to help, lend an ear, offer advice (can't guarantee that it will be the best), I've been close to where you are now.
