I'm doing some creative customizing and I need to drill a new covertec hole on the backside of my reaper (instead of on the side like it comes in). Anyone know how I can do this?

You might be able to do it with any drill but I would suggest a drill press so you know the hole is straight.
You will then need to thread the hole with the correct size tap.

Do you know what size the thread is?

No, and I know that's not all that helpful, I just haven't looked into that detail.
PM coming.

I don't know what size screw they use on that screw first hand but would guess US uses common machine screws going by the blade retention screws. In that case you can take your existing screw to your local hardware, DIY, auto parts store and and match it to a known size and thread.

The socket head screw that us uses i'd prity much standard for most saber smiths its a 8/32 thread and inorder to have the right size hole you need a #29 drill bit you can find a set with bolth the drill bit and tap from home depot or just look for IRWIN brand. I hope this helps

Thank you. The video really helped. With this I'll be able to put a Consular Shroud on my Reaper and get it to stay. XD
