Hey! I'm looking to customise my first saber (when I get it) and I love the grip on that shock, could you tell me what you used?
Thanks!

Hi.  This post is from May 2014.  Not sure if norvinus is still a current member.  But thanks for resurrecting this as I have a dark Shock RGB with the black plastic guarded switches.  This looks so much better.  US currently says that they can't do this latching switch build option.  I agree that the query leather is really nice.   Smiley

You could also pick up a strip of leather and follow Mr. Bulvoy's tutorial here

http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=30775.0

I can assure you it works very well as I have never done leather wrapping before and my first attempt resulted in this as you can see on page 2

http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=32696.0

Its rather easy to do as long as you can take your time. There are several different ways to wrap it around the hilt of which there are several examples all over the forums.

Excellent! Thanks very much guys, I think I'll go with leather as it will be more 'authentic'.

But I like that you can just use bike grips!
