I don't know about elsewhere, but there's a couple of companies here (UK) that make some lightweight armour for HEMA sparring, you can get some pretty cool leg armour from them. Amazon is where i got my upper body armour, i was originally going to add a chest plate, but to be truthful it looks just fine without it. I can't link to the advert here of course, but if you search dirtbike armour and look for the one in all black with a segmented back, you're looking at it!

I'm afraid i did it the other way around, i have a direct debit to my savings account for my wedding, and then what's left after bills is for frivolity  Paid overtime is the king of saber splurge fuel  |
