In my pottery class, we were working with hard and soft slab techniques for our two most recently finished pots. I decided I would make a hard slab saber case that was roughly 13"x3"x3". I left the long sides smooth, with the top side of the lid corrugated and the Sith empire emblem etched in the short sides. It should be fired this week, I will post a picture of it post bisque firing, glazed but pre glaze fired, and finally the absolute finished product. It survived critique day with nothing but positive reviews.

Thanks, I believe it is getting thrown in the gas kiln tomorrow, so I should have glazed pictures on thursday. I love working with clay, and I love that I get to use it to fill an art minor requirement while in school. I wish I had my own studio. |
