I think that's one of the greatest disadvantages to the Sith, at least the younger ones. Emotion is a powerful thing, but you can't let it obstruct your thinking. If Anakin wasn't so ticked off, he would have realized that jumping over Obi-Wan was a fatally STUPID move. Sidious, at least, has enough control over himself to not make those mistakes. That's how it appears anyway. Another example is Mace Windu, who used Form VII/Vaapad. Like the Sith, Vaapad uses ones emotions in a duel. Only it's more focused and controled. That's what I gather anyway.
