Button not responding

I BARELY got my ultrasaber and I got a V4 soundboard. I at first had trouble getting the actual soundboard out so banged it on a table a couple times. Then one it came out i replaced the batteries. Then once I turned on the saber; it stayed on. I couldn't turn it off and I had to take off the batteries. Then I replaced those and tried again. The button now responds on the 3-5 try. What happened? Please help I don't want to send this back 3 times in two months.

My initial guess based on your description would be a flaky switch that isn't making good contact.  Try pressing the button really hard.  You might also try holding a bit of pressure on the button and rotating it within the switch to see if it makes better contact in another position.  Other than that I'm afraid its back for repairs unless you want to purchase a new switch & install it yourself.
