Okay i have to press it multiple times for it to eventually turn on and when it does it is a pain to turn off because it doesn't want to turn off when i hold the button down. Batteries are fully charged and no difference? Do you know why it turns on and off in chance when i press the power button?

You may either have a bad contact inside or a problem with the wiring. Is your saber still under warranty? Then the best way is to contact Emory directly and discuss this issue. He should be able to get that solved.

Not 100% sure, but I do think it's the switch. I had an issue like this that didn't go away even I rewired it. It works, but it's finicky. Emailing Emory is definitely the way to go in this case, I think.
