Fear. Fear attracts the fearful. Fear is my ally.

I logged into US recently and saw, for the first time, the edition of the Holocron Archives to the website.  This is an incredibly cool feature and I look forward to seeing how it builds in the future.  However, it also sparked my imagination and now I would like to pitch an idea to Emory and the rest of the US crew.  US, could you design and produce actual data storing Jedi and Sith holocrons?

There are already a few websites that offer replication holocrons which can hold like 16 gigs of memory.  None of them are very impressive though.  They don't look authentic and they don't have enough storage power.  From my experiences with US, I know that ya'll have a way of providing where others do not.  I think US could design and create a good, working holocron replica with memory storage, lighting, and possibly even a way of implicating the Obsidian soundboard into the device.  With the edition of Jedi and Sith Holocrons to the family, US would pretty much offer everything one needs to become a master of the Force.  I think this would be an incredibly popular item and I personally would be among the first in line to get mine.  We've asked and you've delivered before, US.  Think this is something you could pull off?

Any thoughts from you, Saberforum members?

I actually like this idea. I would get a small one (maybe 1-5 gigs) and just keep all my sound fonts on it. But a lighted working holocron would be a sweet deco piece.

Right!  It could like function as a nightlight, just a cool piece for your Star Wars collection, you could imput sound fonts into it, you could just cram it with Star Wars data, etc.  It would be such a cool thing to see from US.

Yes, we brought it up back in July when they first started the Holocron on the website.  Not much discussion on it really though.

The question is, are you alive, and living your life? Or just here, and watching your life go by?

It would be fun to put a really big flash drive inside a holocrons, like a 64 or even 128 GB...
