I think if I was ever lucky enough to win one of the Elite tier prizes in a Raffle, what I chose would be dramatically impacted by whether it was the Emerald prize or the Grand prize.
I constantly swoon over the SW Universe-inspired hilts US has done a tremendous job with (and I own a Graflex CE & Menace CE and they are INCREDIBLE).
But if I won the Emerald prize - I might have a hard time picking a Chosen One CE or something like that because- I'm just crazy traditional with that stuff.
I'd probably play with the Emerald on it for a couple weeks but ultimately, I'd end up leaving it on Red 99% of the time because - you know - IT'S DARTH VADER'S LIGHTSABER! It's Red!
So I would feel compelled to pick things I would be far more likely to change a lot and put that awesome Emerald driver to work!
Probably something more like a Mantis CE, Manticore CE, Dark Menace or Dark Omen.
(Yep - I said Dark Omen. What? You don't like Thundercats? You know the pommel & emitter are MHS, right? Ever see the Dark Omen body with a Manticore emitter? DROOL!)

Been casually refreshing the page constantly... While at work. Lol I hope it doesn't get posted while I'm driving home in twenty minutes...
My entry saber was a Emerald Consular all the way. It's a beautiful saber and my friends, who all have stunt sabers, drool over it constantly. Really wanna get a second saber to play around with... Good luck everyone!

Yeah, I feel the same - a Graflex in red, or a Chosen One in orange... would feel wrong I'm sure I could live with it (my new Guardian is in Sunrider's Destiny, after all) but if I had them in Emerald, well, I'd just keep going back to the canon colours. Flash on clash, though? You could get creative there  Best of luck, again, to all who've entered. I'm sure US won't keep you waiting too much longer, and it's worth the wait if you're among the lucky winners! If you're not, you're still getting a parcel sometime soon with pure, concentrated, awesome inside! |
