I'm kicking around the idea of moving the location of a Covertec wheel on one of my sabers. If I do that, I'll have to plug the hole in the original location.  Here's my question:

What have others done?

I know the most common one is a screw, but I'd like to feel it in the hilt before I take the leap. Any pictures, links, or information about the length, diameter, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe a button head screw for a free my type look or something? I know you said you didn't want that but only thing I could think of

A hardware store will have various hex screws that will fill it without sticking out, if you want nothing there.

I've mostly seen gnarled screws like what you'd see on Darth Maul's saber but of different colors.
