Hello all,

My wife just put together my first Sith outfit.  Still will need some final tweaking but I hope looks decent -

Looks great! The only thing I'd change is the t-shirt. I usually use either a turtleneck or V neck shirt depending on weather. Everything else looks fantastic.

It looks fantastic.  I like the gray and black.  It's always nice to see a Sith in something other than just straight black.  The belt is really nice.

Very nice. With the design, technically you're dressed as more of a gray Jedi. But, I don't deal in absolutes.

It depends on the era.  In the SWTOR era, Sith are seen wearing more grays, reds and purples, as well as a variety of other colors, as opposed to the straight black that was seen in the movies.  Though, even Count Dooku, who was a Sith, wore brown.

Besides, Sith technically have no rules.  Wink

That's what I meant. Tunics, tabards and an obi is kinda the Jedi traditional garb. Sith would rebel against that and be like, "What eva! I do what I want!" We were just talking about this in another thread. Someone asked if Jedi can wear black boots. Anakin had black boots. For the purpose of the film, it signified his dark temptations. But the characters don't know that. Dooku used to be a Jedi. Dark Jedi often wear the black and gray colors in this Jedi style. These things are a Jedi tradition. The real Sith(tendril face kind) have a different style. I was hoping someone had tackled that, when I first saw this thread. A small few online have tried.

Still very nice.

Ah, I see your point.  Maybe a former Jedi who went Sith and just likes that style of clothing.  Wink

Very nice indeed Drac!

I really like the black/grey contrast you have there.

I tend to agree though - lose the t-shirt - and potentially the smile...lol

Everything else is spot on.

Nicely done. Smiley

Thanks all.  The tee was just for trying on as there is going to be some tweaking for fit.

Thanks.  I always wondered why Obi Wan was hiding is robes of a Jedi Master.  While they were appropriate for the desert one the Star Wars world embraced that as Jedi robes it seemed a bet "really?"

I personally like it. And since your wife made it it'll have more meaning once its fully finished. The inner tunic reminds me of someone else as well but can't really place it

Going to tighten up the outfit a bit.  One thing I was thinking was leg wraps up to the knees.  Also a couple  belt pouches.  The pounces, belt and boots are Ren gear from my kilts.

Also when you folks head to a Con with your saber do you leave the blade at home?

Thanks,
Drac

A lot of people seem to carry their sabers with blades in them at cons.  Personally, I would probably just leave my blade at home and use one of my hilts with Covertec wheels and my clip.  That's why I paid extra for that stuff.  Wink

I make it a point to have mine attached at cons.  Makes people gasp when they ask for a pic, and you turn it on. Grin
