New Job

Received a phone call today telling me that I got the job I applied for a couple of months ago.

It's working for the Civil Service (I live in the UK) and I start 6th March. 20 min cycle from my house, great money, typical working hours (mon-fri 9.30am-5.30pm). And the best part is, because it's with the civil service, unless I royally screw up (as in gross misconduct) it is pretty much a job for life. Lots of promotion and career advancement opportunities too.

It also means I can now start putting aside to finance parts of the Star Wars fan film I am planning filming later this year.

Today is a good day.

Also, in other news, I seem to have less grey hairs this month than last month and I'm still extremely pretty.

Well done with the patience and perseverance, Knox.  It's all sounds really good and so worth the wait, especially as it seems your stress level will be less, and that plus fewer gray hairs is always a good thing. Life IS good!
