The change in momentum from the first to the second is so drastic, but the first is so whimsical.
I'd have to say that these days, the lack of body parts and gore is very welcome.
I'd like to know what my deally is. My driving used to be good in the 1st game, not this time. And the opposite in the 2nd, again, not this time. I've never had an easier time in the stadium races. I do however hate any level with the Titan suit. I still have the underwater mission to run (not looking forward to it). I have a series of not so nice words for the jack-hole that was in charge of the Titan-suit missions and the racing mechanics of Jak 2. Jak 3? Love it. The only thing about 3 I don't like are the Kleaver and Jet board challenges. They're a tad on the ridiculously hard side. But I can't get enough dune driving. And I love the whole Thunder-Dome vibe the Waste-Land puts out. I never got into those types. I couldn't FPS to save my life. |

Never heard of Humble Bundle until this, but I had to jump all over that. Between this and GOG re-releasing the X-Wing and Tie Fighter games about all we need now is Rebel Assault. |

Hubby got the Humble Bundle last night. If I wanna play it, I'll play on his.
In other news.....
FINALLY got in to see a specialist about my buggered ankle, only 20 months after rolling it this time round, and that's only coz I got sick of waiting in the public health system and thought stuff it I'll just pay to go private (keep in mind our system works different here in Oz). He's confident surgery will fix it.
And now I'm booked in for an MRI.
Good news had to eventually come!

Actually I've been walking around on a bad ankle for 14.5 years. Its officially been damaged longer than half my life. I've been suffering chronic pain for 6.5 years when i twisted it really bad doing nothing more than turning around on the spot on flat ground at home, and 20 months since the last time i twisted it, which after initially getting better decided to go downhill and has been getting progressively worse over the last 16 months. Thankfully the specialist didn't just say 'oh lets try physio and see how that works', which is what past specialists have told me. Since I've been going to physio weekly for the last 12 months and on and off over the last 6.5 years, which obviously isn't the solution. I think that combined with my worryingly long list of painkillers told him that something needs to happen. My ankle, along with my leg and knee, are currently reminding me why i need said surgery. Clearly they don't think i need sleep tonight  now to keep saving  |
