By Destroying the temple it effectively shut all the other gates.  I get the feeling the Temple was the key to opening the other gates.  I do believe Palpatine  was at the Sith Temple  where Palpatine, Dooku and Yoda were in Clone Wars.  He used words of power then to.

They couldve made a whole new trilogy from the Rebels series and it wouldve been great to see in live action. This show is awesome!

You'll have to explain what you mean by "goodbye to the Clone Wars", but if you mean what I think you mean, than yes. Especially the way he said "finally fighting for a cause we chose to believe in" or whatever his exact words were.

As cool as it was...it just still leaves me with so much nagging questions.  mainly If Ahsoka was alive during the OT...you're telling me she heard of a Jedi in the rebellion named Skywalker and didn't make herself known to Luke?  When did Hera and Kanan have a physical relationship (and Jacen...JACEN!)

Maybe she did and Luke kept it a secret. Also wasn’t Luke consider a Jedi until Return of the Jedi? Was he famous before the Battle of Endor or after?

My take on it was that she came to the realization that she couldn’t save Anikin. Maybe she saw a path where her absence let Luke save Anakin and she took that path.

I'm in agreement to still having questions. Mostly ones like your last one, and what is the Stick/staff that Ahsoka is wielding. But also, we don't yet know where Ahsoka went after she escaped the World between Worlds. Ezra did tell her to "come find me" I kind of wonder if maybe as they were running through the rooms, they caught a glimpse of how the battle of Lothal would go down, and maybe possibly where Ahsoka and Sabine find Ezra and Thrawn (because Filoni has confirmed they are both still alive). Also, wouldn't it be Jacen Jarrus or Jacen Dume? Lots of stuff to ponder, but I kind of really hope the next series that Filoni makes is about Sabine and Ahsoka searching for Ezra. I really don't want that to be in a book.
