Hey guys. I've been doing all the research I can and I'm still only confused. to what node or wires would I put the Positive and negative ends of the PLI if I want it lit only while the saber is on? Thank you.

I have never done a PLI.  I think For it to light up while the saber is on only,  I would guess you would just run it on the negative and positive wires after the switch before going to the led. So you would just run both the two led wires and the PlI wires together And attached them to the positive and negative wires coming from the switch. That way your PLI is getting the full 7.4 volts from the battery and can indicate the power level. This is my best guess. I don't think it's anymore complicated than that.

thats what I'm thinking as well. But I've also seen it said that the PLI+ is connected to battery+ and PLI- is connected to LED- on the Obsidian board

It wouldn't be hard to just test it both ways. It could be that it works either way.

That's probably for a PLI that also shows the power level while the saber is off because it's wired directly to the battery pack.
